DJ's from around the world will gather this Saturday, September 24th in London to compete in the 2016 DMC World DJ Championship Finals. Sponsored by Peavey Electronics, the competition will see over 100 DJ's contend for top honors at the O2 Forum in Kentish Town from 2pm-11pm. The victor of this prestigious event will win a prize package that includes a pair of Peavey RBN 112 powered speakers, and the runner up will walk away with a pair of Peavey Dark Matter 112 speakers.
Contestants have advanced through regional and national DMC DJ battles to compete in this weekend's championship. Peavey RBN, PVXp and Dark Matter speakers were included in the prize packages for the first place winners in the DMC USA Regional Battles, the DMC USA DJ Finals, and the official Danish DJ Championship DM I Mix and Battle of the Beats Nordic.
The all day DJ festival will also include performances and workshops throughout the day. Legendary DJ crew Invisibl Skratch Piklz (Q-Bert, Shortkut D-Styles) will perform for the first time in the UK in over two decades. Other performances will include Killa Kela the Spitkingdom Soundsystem, DJ FLY DJ NETIK (DMC Online World Team Champions 2016 and 5X DMC World Champions), and DJ Woody Live. Featured workshops will include Lyricism with Chester P and Farma G (Task Force), Beatbox with 2015 World Champions The Beatbox Collective, Poppin and Lockin with POPMASTER FABEL (Rock Steady Crew NYC), and DJ with DJ FONG FONG and DJ Woody.
